With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved youngest child, Philip Aaron Morse, who was taken from us far too soon on November 4th, 2024 at age 45. Philip was born on May 10th, 1979 to Rick and Cathy Morse. From the moment he entered our lives, he brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.
Philip was born in Fresno, CA and raised in Riverdale, CA where he made lasting memories with family and friends. He also spent about 10 years of his life living in New England with his brother, which he often reflected on as one of the most positive experiences of his life. He was known for being the unofficial family historian, a cook in the restaurant industry, loved Indiana Jones and quickly became an expert with the whip, had a brown belt in Karate and especially loved listening to police scanners! He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin.
He is survived by his parents, Rick and Cathy Morse, his older brother Eric Morse and Godson/Nephew, Anthony Morse all of whom he loved and adored. We find comfort in knowing that Philip is now at peace and free from any pain and suffering, but we will forever hold him in our thoughts and hearts.
Family and Friends are invited to join us in honoring Philip’s memory and sharing stories of his life on Monday December 2nd, 2024, from 2:00pm – 7:00pm at Sterling and Smith Funeral Directors. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday December 3rd, 2024, beginning at 10am at Washington Colony Cemetery District. Immediately following the graveside service, we will be having a reception at Valley Harvest Fellowship.
