Leroy Nicodemus Cordova Jr.

LeRoy was born in Tulare, CA to LeRoy Cordova, Sr. and Gloria (Garcia) Cordova. He passed
away on November 3, 2021 at the age of 54.
LeRoy was a great athlete and excelled in many sports. He was a Tulare Union High School
graduate and lettered in baseball and football. He went on to coach several of his children and
was their biggest fan, attending all their sports and activities. LeRoy was a devoted Raider and
Oakland A’s fan. During these games you would often find him yelling at the T.V. He loved
music, singing and dancing.
He graduated from Richard A. McGee Training Center on 1/3/93 and started his career at
Corcoran State Prison on 2/15/93. After 24 years of service, he retired on 4/4/17.
LeRoy spent his retirement years dabbling in many hobbies. He loved to go surf fishing, attend
football and baseball games, landscape his backyard, restore old furniture and mostly, spend
time with his family.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Cordova, Sr., his grandparents; Guadalupe
Cordova, Sarah Lovato, Joe and Lydia Garcia.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Cordova, and his sister Lia White (Josh). His children;
Aaron Cordova, Nathan Cordova (Krysta), Elyse Reveles (Keenan), Jadon Cordova, Jennah
Cordova and his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Fernandez. He is also survived by his grandchildren;
Brayden Cordova, Nathan Cordova, Kylah Cordova, Liam Cordova, Bear Cordova, Maverick
Reveles, Eli Reveles and Baby Cordova who is arriving in December; his niece Joshlyn Gomes
(Derrick) and nephews Levi White, Tristan White, Ridge White, Gage White and numerous
aunts, uncles, and cousins.
LeRoy had a big smile and big personality that will be deeply missed by all.
