Michael Kay Bridges

Michael Kay Bridges entered this life April 2nd 1971 and departed May 25th 2022 at the age of 51.
Michael lived his life in the end serving the LORD through Teen Challenge Ministries as a staff member. He helped others with obstacles in their lives come to the LORD for help and salvation

Michael had a bit of a rough start in life but wouldn't change a single thing.

Michael joined the United States Army directly after graduating high school. He became a recruiter for the army before receiving an Honorable discharge.

Michael later became a partner in ASAP towing for a short while and then moved in to truck driving.

In January of 1999 Michael became the proud Father of his first son John Michael Bridges. Then In December of 2000 Michael was blessed with his 2nd son Matthew Charles.

After a stint of bad decisions Michael found himself in the Teen Challenge Ministries where he quickly fell in love with JESUS.

After spending a year in the program Michael graduated and was offered a position as a staff member with Teen Challenge . Michael excelled at setting an amazing example of how to be a man of GOD.

Michael loved to hang out with his boys and he bled silver and black as he was a huge Raiders fan. He also loved baseball and would wear ANGEL'S gear whenever possible. Michael loved taking his boys to eat and his favorite place was A&W.

Michael passed surrounded by the ones he loved the most, His sons John and Matt.

Michael is survived by his sons John Michael Bridges of Tulare Matthew Charles Bridges of Tulare and several family members.

Services will be held Thursday June 16th at Sterling&Smith chapel in Tulare at 409 N. K ST viewing is from 4pm to 6pm. A service will be from 6pm to 8pm. Graveside services will be Friday June 17th at Bakersfield National Cemetery at 10am....
