Armando Garcia

The Bible says: “A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.”
How can the day of our death be better than the day of our birth?
When we are born, we have not yet done anything with our life, either good or bad. But when we use our life to serve Jehovah and do good for others, we build “a good name,” or reputation, and Jehovah will remember us even after we have died.
And that’s what Armando did
He served his God Jehovah faithfully and always did good for others.
My husband always wanted to help the underdog which is ironic because I see Pancreatic Cancer as a underdog disease - it’s not a as mainstream as other cancers, and it needs much more Attention and Awareness.
Armando was born on September 17th 1960 in McAllen, Texas to Bertha and Jesus Garcia and is proceeded in death by is son Armando Phillip Garcia
On 7-15-78 Married his high school sweetheart & they were married 42 wonderful yrs
Surviving family includes his beloved wife:Esther Garcia
And his children and grandchildren who deeply loved their father and cared for him durning his treatments and after always by his side till the end.
2 Sons: Dario & Donnie
4 Daughters: Reyna, Jessica, Barbara, Elizabeth
He has 8 Grandsons & 5 Granddaughters
Another important date of Armando’s was his baptism date
He was baptized as one of JW’s on March 1984 at the Madera Assembly Hall
He served Jehovah faithfully for 36 years
Armando was loved by so many people, family and friends
Armando is described by friends as: loving, kind, generous, & happy
Strangers & Friends were drawn to him
People who had barely known Armando felt comfortable around him, he was warm gentle and inviting, strangers felt as if they had knew him there entire life
He was seen by many as a father figure. He was a Dad to so many people
By Family: He was seen as a provider, protector, and a spiritual man
Someone who always took care of his family and loyally served Jehovah
Armandos favorite scripture in the Bible is (Isaiah 65:17-25 )
Armando knew that this promise from God would have an even greater fulfillment in the near future ( Revelation 21: 3-4 )
This scripture brought him strength and comfort
He longed for the day where his days spent with his family and beloved wife will be like the days of a tree. He would enjoy life for thousands of years into eternity
For now he would be asleep ( Ecclesiastes 5:9-10 )
